Signed, Sealed, Delivered

July in a nutshell:

• Never got a chance to hit up the Celebration of Light, but did manage to watch the fireworks at Canada Place on Canada Day.
• Became a tourist in my own city.
• Last call for alcohol.. putting an end to throwing parties, at least for a while
• Caught Shia on the big screen twice -- his departure to the college life, reminded me of what was to come.. except I don't have a car named Bumble Bee nor am I heading to Egypt anytime soon.
• Thoughtful is a good characteristic.
  
• A different generation.
• Helped put together 2 scrapbooks for a childhood friend who's left for Cow-Town.
• Crescent Beach brings back memories of my childhood.
• Tandem biked around Stanley Park. Beautiful scenery. Allowed me to cross something off on my "things to do".
• I want to play beach volleyball, any takers?
  
• Reacquainted with family friends. Goodtimes as always.
  
• There's something about having a history with someone. Maybe it's because they've known the different you every time you've changed and stuck by you through it all. Or maybe it's because people always look back to the past to re-live moments even though it's time no one can ever get back. I guess it's the hope that what used-to-be could be again.
  
• I thoroughly enjoyed watching The Hangover and I Love You Man.
  
• I want to read again.
  
• Breakfast is underrated.
• My weird analogies and theories actually make sense. I got people on board and I'm glad they've joined me.
  
• You can no longer stalk me on Facebook, well at least for now. I must say, it's kind of nice not checking it every hour to see status updates and reading wall-to-walls. And it made me realize, if you really wanted to talk to me you would find a way and that I miss face-to-face communication. I'm an in-person get to know type.
  
• Reactions are priceless.
  
• I've made the basement my new home.
  
• I sort of miss eating cereals, like the whole deal. Cereals for breakfast with milk.
  
• I know we've broken temperature records these past few days, but I want to shop for coats, sweaters, boots, scarves and hoodies.
  
• Nothing beats Marble Slab, Baskin Robins or ice cream period on a hot summer day.
  
• Let's do more outdoor-sy things while we still can.
  
• Sometimes you have to discuss appropriate dates to hangout with friends because some people's schedules can be full. Whatever happened to spontaneity or being free all the time? I guess it's a sign we're growing up, sigh.
  
• Been trying to plan a going away thing and still haven't been able to narrow it down. Maybe I need the logistics settled first.
  
• This fire ban is ruining my hopes of a sweatshirt bonfire.
  
• There's something interesting about watching a movie that's not in a movie theatre.. how about outside in a park?
• Sometimes I wish nice guys would get the girl instead of finishing last.
• Kube 93 has been like a best friend lately.
  
• What are we going to have.. dessert or disaster?
• Miss Independent to the fullest.
  
• Granted we've known each other for sometime, it don't take a whole day to recognize sunshine. There are times when you'll need someone, I will be by your side. There is a light that shines, special for you and me.
  

July, I can't believe it's over. This means only one month left of summer and one month left before I leave. I guess I better make the most of it. Thanks for the memories July.
